What was your occupation? Mechanic/owner at Reese’s Chevron station.
What are your favorite activities now? Working at the station, fishing, and working in the yard.
What piece of advice would you offer to other people with Aphasia? Practice, practice, practice!
What is your biggest accomplishment in the last year? I do the bookwork for the station on the computer and make bank deposits in person, all independently.
In what way are you raising awareness of Aphasia in our community? I am a peer mentor at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for people diagnosed with Aphasia.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us? I enjoy spending time with my family and eight grandkids!
